After 5 years of sharing miles of trails and tales (tails?) in the Cascade Mts of WA with these amazing 4-legged spirits (and many 2-leggeds also), I just had to share them with others.  It was a time of tremendous growth, healing, and accomplishment.  There is, for me,  no peace so profound as the one experienced at the end of a long  day, dog-tired, muscles and bottom sore, eyes fighting to stay open long enough to eat and watch the herd running for the hills.  Thank you B & J for sharing your world.
